You will agree that the intervention of the computer to our world has been a blessing to many spheres of human activities.  Imagine a world without ICT; a world where manual labour kills faster than viral infections. The application of the knowledge of the computer through a programming language has gained aggressive prominence since we arrived the 21st century and has produced a goldmine inside a career for many. But which is important about the computer? Is it the ease it brings to play as a machine or the wealth it avails for ICT practitioners? Well, both cannot be estimated as employers who are conscious of getting the job done will go through extra effort towards rewarding brilliance exhibited leveraging the computer with a mouth-watering salary.

 

But the computer in another view is just an empty dead box without instructions given to it to work with. The beauty of the computer itself is the application it runs which is translated by a layman as giving ease. Basically, giving the computer an array of instructions (an algorithm) to perform a specific task is referred to as programming. Computer programming is now an emerging lucrative industry especially in the United States. Without being exaggerative, the average take home salary of a programmer recently is estimated to have hit a six-digit all time record and just as the human language, the computer also understands a varying programming languages which invariably comes with their own preference, prospects, pricing and rigour.

 

Quatz‘s Max Nisen in an analysis in July 2013 aired the varying facts and figures in the programming language career based on the number of enrolments at the Brokings Institution. Based on this statistics and survey, below are a list of popularly priced languages and their corresponding average annual take-home salary from topmost to least in the programming market;

While all these programming language can earn you that much, a data released by an IT recruiting firm named Mondo revealed that a career path in Salesforce Architecture can earn you an approximate value of $180,000 to $200,000 monthly if you train to become one.
