ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for the design, development and unit testing of the software products within the Database Analytics Automation (DAA) group.
• Primary responsibility for user interface design and related business logic development.
• Secondary responsibility for database logical design and related business logic development.
• Provide written functional and performance impact analysis as required for development tasks.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst to provide written design specifications, configuration specifications and operational procedures as required for development tasks.
• Interface with various levels of UBC management, peer, service and support groups to present analysis findings and application designs.

 

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
• At least two years of experience in designing, developing and supporting medium to large scale or complex software applications used in a web environment. Two or more years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare setting is preferred
• In depth knowledge and hands-on experience with all phases of an SDLC.
• Ability to quickly understand and convert business requirements into functional specifications
