Position Description

• Walmart’s Partnership Marketing team works closely with Walmart Lab’s cutting-edge marketing platform, WMX, and our supplier marketing partners (many Fortune 500 brands) to lead best-in-class marketing efforts. WMX is the world’s largest dataset and enables highly sophisticated digital marketing and analytics.
• The Marketing Insights Intern will work with Partnership Marketing, Advertising Operations (AdOps) WMX, GCIA, and our sales and execution agency to develop insights from supplier marketing programs. Insights may be specific to product categories (i.e., Electronics products), brand, campaign, audience, or ad product.

Minimum Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Word)
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver against timelines
• Creative, motivated, and thorough
• Understanding of how to develop an “actionable insight”

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketing department, advertising agency, or marketing research group
• Basic digital media understanding (i.e., definition of impressions, ability to calculate CPM)
• Analytics and/or reporting experience
